I’m so glad you’re here!
If you have stumbled your way to my website then you must be interested in eating healthy and being more health conscious. I’m SO glad! Because here at The Skinny Peach, we are all about just that. I LOVE food and I LOVE helping others. I want you to use my website as a reference to help you venture out and try new things. New healthy things. I want to inform and teach you about what it is you’re eating and what you are feeding your kids. Our food supply has changed more in the last 30 years than it has in the last 1,000 years and that is SCARY! You need to know what it is that you are putting in your body. The Skinny Peach is a place where you can get wonderful, yummy recipes as well as current information on vitamins, skincare, superfoods, and so much more! Browse around and contact me if you are interested in going to a class or becoming a client.
So, for those who want to know my credentials – here you go!
I earned a bachelor of science in Community Health and Human Services from Georgia College in 1996. I spent many years working in a hospital setting as a health educator. I ran health fairs, community classes on varied health topics and oversaw the education department.
I received additional training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing on this knowledge, I will help you to create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.
Please keep in mind that while I am a certified Health Coach, I am not a registered dietitian or doctor. This blog is not intended as medical or nutritional advice. My posts are based on my own research and personal experience. You should always consult a doctor before making any changes to your diet and exercise routine. You are ultimately responsible for your own health!
